The Corridor and Angle Galleries are a cooperative space run under the auspices of a non-profit, it is not a commercial gallery. Showing here requires a little more investment on behalf of exhibiting artists, such as the artist hanging their own exhibitions and providing wall tags for each piece, possible gallery sitting and providing additional promotional material at the artists cost. There is no charge for showing in either gallery and there are no commission charges on sales. But, if any sales are made, the galleries will gladly accept any donations towards the operation costs that are incurred each year. The Corridor is open from 5pm to 9pm on First Thursday and from noon to 5pm on Fridays and Saturdays. The Angle is open from 5pm to 9pm on First Thursday only. These hours may be expanded, if the artist is willing to gallery sit.
For complete details, contact TK Commercial Coordinator Paul D. McKee.
The Angle and Corridor galleries are intended to be a space for artists who are experimenting, emerging, or who are seeking an opportunity to gain some exposure for their work and who are not professionally represented by a commercial gallery. Artists, artist groups, and curators are encouraged to apply. There are some space and safety limitations and artists who work in 3D or installation are encouraged to visit before applying.
How to apply: The Angle and Corridor Galleries require submissions in digital form via email. Mailed submissions are no longer accepted. Unfortunately, we cannot answer every inquiry. If we are interested in showing your work, we will get in contact with you. The exhibition calendar is filled in one (1) year increments. Decisions for the next season's exhibitions are usually made by the end of the proceeding year (usually late November).
- Up to 10 examples of recent work, digital .jpg files are preferred, or a link to your website
- For alternative media, please contact us directly for more information.
- An artist’s statement
- A proposal for the exhibition or curatorial project.
- A CV or Artist Resume (preferably a full CV- Curriculum Vitae).
We look forward to hearing from you.
